Think
I'm not.
I'm more for music in its purest form.
I love the horns, I love the strings.
I love the voices.
I love the beauty of a garden in the air.
Noises of love, purest in form.
I hate the screaming in my head.
My ears scream white like a poison.
I seek out sounds louder than those in me.
I pray-thank God for the niose you make.
I sometimes forget the screaming in my ears.
Get lost inside your sounds and pleasantness.
I don't love Rock I just love the noise.
I pray Dear God to hear your best or still to enjoy it.
am I done?
am i???
Huh?
- Huh?
- Sir Huh?
What I know and think and see and feel
are a thousand times too big for me
What's hard I guess is I know it's real
and just for me, I'm alone in this
I see through things so easily
some lies some needs some other things
I try to speak, I know I need to
conversations change, I find I can't
I know it's God. It has to be
No one alive in this world could do this to me
I beg sometimes "please let me speak?
then for hours I hear why I can't
I fall in mud and bruise my arm
stand accused it seems that I set it up
If what I feel I feel is real
I stand accused, must be I created it???
If breath makes voice and gives me life
If breath worth more I'd have my voice
Can walk alone, I spose again...
but walk to what, I fuckin love my children
I ask in peace to see these days, just to see them more before my change
I guess their worth it no matter what
but my breath is cotton, only feeds my lungs
What would I do if I could change it?
Nothing sir. I don't mind paying
Just wish I was better at it Sir!
100.000 books for free
Michael Hart, founder of Project Gutenberg, invented eBooks in 1971.
In 1971 Micheal was given $100.000.000 dollars by University of Illinois to "spend" time on the internet. He thought that odd because it was also money he was "spending", so he began the dilemma "do I use it or use it?".
He chose to use that money, but had no idea how to use it wisely.
I don't write well so read this....
"Project Gutenberg began in 1971 when Michael Hart was given an operator's account with $100,000,000 of computer time in it by the operators of the Xerox Sigma V mainframe at the Materials Research Lab at the University of Illinois.
This was totally serendipitous, as it turned out that two of a four operator crew happened to be the best friend of Michael's and the best friend of his brother. Michael just happened "to be at the right place at the right time" at the time there was more computer time than people knew what to do with, and those operators were encouraged to do whatever they wanted with that fortune in "spare time" in the hopes they would learn more for their job proficiency.
At any rate, Michael decided there was nothing he could do, in the way of "normal computing," that would repay the huge value of the computer time he had been given ... so he had to create $100,000,000 worth of value in some other manner. An hour and 47 minutes later, he announced that the greatest value created by computers would not be computing, but would be the storage, retrieval, and searching of what was stored in our libraries.
He then proceeded to type in the "Declaration of Independence" and tried to send it to everyone on the networks (LOL, that was one of the first spam viruses) ... which can only be described today as a not so narrow miss at creating an early version of what was later called the "Internet Virus."
A friendly dissuasion from this yielded the first posting of a document in electronic text, and Project Gutenberg was born as Michael stated that he had "earned" the $100,000,000 because a copy of the Declaration of Independence would eventually be an electronic fixture in the computer libraries of 100,000,000 of the computer users of the future. "
Anyway, more on that [here] and then we come to the reason of my post.
Right here you can have over one hundred thousand ebooks for free [100,000 + Free books]
And [here] you can have a copy of "Ten Thousand Dreams Interpreted, or what's in a dream
by Gustavus Hindman Miller"
10,000 dreams is the standard for dream evaluation, but not the score. It is accurate only as accurate your mind is in tune with his but I have bought over twenty copies of this book to give away and share. It is a gem.
My post
I never sold myself to you
Mine art is not yours,
yours is not mine, I beg you this
You come to me 99% of you on prosac or on fumes
I never meet even a part of you.
I see the product, nothing more
A doctor made his, made decisions on how to
expand his wealth on you
you bought and sold and traded too
you made that man
I'm sorry
I tossed my dealers, tossed my drugs away
You think I want yours but not mine?
I'm sorry for you in your induced state, I'm happier in mine.
Please no offense, I have no state
to shame you or cast a lot
You fuck-up takin doctors shit, yer just as bad as I ever was...
Smoke on that....
Can't say no more, but I hate you taking drugs
Another tango...
This is a "wow"
WOW, this is a hard pill to swallow...
Following is a post of a post. It is NOT about me or mine!

Back to the hospital...
Tomorrow morning... For five days, maybe more, never less... I'm tired, I'm scared... But that's my life.
As usual, I'll see people close to the death, or simply dying, just by my side. And I'll think about my own departure, all the love I've never shown, all what I should have done, I still have to make, I couldn't do, before...
I'll see my friends and the devastations of the multiple sclerosis on their legs, arms, lumbs, brains.
I'll hear their complaints, what they wanted to realize, all their stolen dreams. I'll hear them, that's it, because there is nothing to say... No way to help, except to let them talk about their pains. I'll give them my ears and my heart.
As usual, I won't sleep, haunting the hospital with my notebook like the Phantom his Opera, if I can walk again, hearing people yelling, crying, all night long. Hopeless children, women and men, united by their tears.
And I'll write again about humanity, his hells and heavens. Maybe a day, hidden in these thousands pages about the diseases, I'll find a way, The Way...
To end this sad post, the only thing that comes in my mind are the words of Christian :
Artists I will love you, je vous aimerai,
Until my dying day, jusqu'Ă mon dernier souffle."
Taken from "Univers D'Artesta's" blog at... [Link]
Thanks for your passion, your strength, your faith.
Thanks to make of this world such a beautiful place.
Salvador....
Salvador Dali...
The guy is fantastic. He's a truly blessed artist with talent beyond compare.
I felt like I ripped you off with the other Dali post and know this is skank too because this site only wants yer money for "donations". Still I changed this link three damn times so this is the best I could get without going into leech sites or private pages on him (sorry)
If yer donatin to anything donate to me. I need shavin creme, a razor, a book on weight loss and socks that fit.
Anyway it's a link to an info page on him... [Link]
Or you can join our Salvador Dali group on Flicker [here].
I'm "Mad_Datta" in there, not Funkin Dave. (Mad Datta means mad dad. I made name 14 years ago while my lovely 2 year old son Joe was beating on me to use the computer. It was closest name I could get without him kickin my ass
More from DrillPop
Asian DrillPop is an Asian media culture type blog. link is here.
It's decent but huge and takes forever for the page to load. The owner of this blog has (I think) three or four others up there. I might have posted another link in a previous post. You might find a link here (I donno), but his others are much better than DrillPop.

Max's work
Frazetta
He's one of the team with Dean and Boris.
He brought us Vampirella and Tarzan.
Wiki says this about him...
"Frank Frazetta (born February 9, 1928) is an American fantasy and science fiction artist, noted for his Buck Rogers comic book covers for Famous Funnies and paperback book cover paintings on series' such as Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs and Conan the Barbarian by Robert E. Howard. His paintings gained added popularity in the 1970's, appearing in books, posters, prints, record covers, and various other merchandise. He is the subject of the 2003 nationally televised American film documentary Frank Frazetta, Painting with FireFrank"
I freakin knew the guy was an aquarian! (LOL)

Enjoy...
Boris
Boris Vallejo, or just "Boris"...
This man got me into more trouble.... I was 13 years old and I couldn't afford his stuff so I stole it. I got caught stealing it and what did I do? I stole more. This stuff was beyond compare! It had every element!
I had just finished reading Tolkien, was now on H.P. Lovecraft and into Heinlen and reading Nebula Science Fiction Awards paperbacks. I could not read fast enough to get my fix. I was friggin addicted to MEDIA. it was horrible. Thinking back now I realize that Nebula was a sort of blog like this one (only without the internet). I had to read every one to see who was good and where I should go next.
Thing about Boris tho was you didn't have to read a book to get the fantasy. One picture was a story.
Here's a link to his site --->link.
I think yer gonna like him...
NOTE: I know the spellin rule is "I before E, except in Budweiser and Heineken" but I aint sure if I spelt Heinlen or Tolkien right so Just Get Over It!
Roger Dean
Roger Dean is brilliant as an artist. Reason being is he only paints what was never there,,,
In his world land floats, his world is defined by conceptual islands, each containing it's own element, each defined on its own plane.
He gained notoriety in the early 1970's with his album art productions. Most notably would be for his work done for the band "Yes", but he went beyond that and created so much album art-work that (I think) in 1977 he published a complete book called "Album Cover Art - Roger Dean". LOL, I think I sold drugs just to buy that book "wish I still had it but I cut it up and framed most of the pictures to hang on my wall"
Here is a link to his site [LINK], this one to an art page [nother link], First link is.... I donno, you'll see for yerself I guess...
Enjoy,,,
How to define an era
Robert Williams, otherwise known as "The Chrome King" pretty much defined a realm of art in the early 70's. His work was everywhere, on most of my tee-shirts even.
Most of his work had some kind of add-atude to it. Meaning "there was always more".
I can't say much more about him right now without ranting along like an idiot but here's a link for you to use to see for yourself what amazed every ten year old kid in the country back in 1970.
I bet yer gonna like it too...
PS: "I painted this back in 1990, called it my self portrait and gave it to my son, but in my painting Coochie Cootie had his thumb out hitch-hiking and a police cruiser was coming up behind him with his rollers on."

Am I wasting my time here???
One more Michaela...
This girl is great!
Badfinger.... Wonderful band but killed by production.
Tabloids and critics called them a mock immitation Beatles band with no talent only thriving off of the Beatles sound.
This was in 1972. We took our music seriously then and no mock band was allowed, shame though because they were a great band.
I heard once that George Harrison felt bad about it. I think it was in a discussion about the band "The Cars" during an interview. George Harrison also trained (I think the 15 year old bass player) for the Cars, and he was deeply involved in their beginnings.
Enjoy,,,
Day After Day Badfinger LIVE! 1972
Scooter...
Gotta love and hate him.
He's an actor, but not an artist. Here is what they say about this song....
"The chorus was taken from the 1979 number 1-hit (in NL) of Earth & Fire's "Weekend", originally sung by Jerney Kaagman, but re-recorded by an unknown singer for this small Scooter hit.
According to the Scooter video-clip, the sentence near the end should read "Respect to the men in the icecream van" (the plural of "man") and refers to the British chillout/acid house group "The KLF", which was a great inspiration to Scooter.
A lot of other Scooter songs have hidden references to the KLF..."
He is the #1 performer on some level in Germany going on and over ten years, but... He's no David Bowie.
Almost everything he's made money off of was a rip-off from a real artist. "Raving" is just a revamped version of "Walking in Memphis", this one explained above but in his case that's ok because he's a talented actor.
I read the bullshit info pages on the sites today but I also read them five years ago too. Five years ago his name was David. Now I think it's H.P. Scooter. Five years ago his female backup singer was his wife, now it's his sister...
Don't all actors get paid to act though?
I really don't care because he does put on a good enough act to please Germany for more than ten years and I aint half as smart as most of them so I'm down with it.
One more note. I heard he was from Rhode Island, U.S.A. and his accent agrees with that
Enjoy,,,
Mark Bryan
I like Mark Bryan's style and he's good but not too original. I can see his talent with color and light but too many quirks in his work. He has little baby skeletons in pics, it might be nostalgia for him but for me it's redundant. I see that he has talent enough to make a new mold and become an artist with something original to offer, but I bet this stuff more than pays his bills anyway.
Here is his link ---> Link
Mark you ever see my blog then send me some new stuff...
Southie ???
This post I tabbed under "assholes", look below and see for yerself. I did this because...
My family always bragged about being "connected" and having "friends". That was bullshit. My uncle had ties in with the South Boston Mob like a school girl had ties in with the football team. His best hope was that they only used him and not abused him.
I was born in 1961 so I'm a product of the sock-hopping era. My family (13 children on one side and 13 on the other) were their own gang and they were Hoods and they were proud of it.
I guess it was expected of me to honor that "Southie Streets" or "Dorchester Boys" pride but I never did. All I ever felt was shame for them.
In my eye if you can't stand alone then you never actually stood at all.
This post was going to be bullshit street gang art from the teeny-bopper era of the 1950's and might still become that but for now I have lost my interest in it.
One more thing to say to you all.... "Shine in your own light, followers only look behind themselves, leaders are the only ones that define the present"
Link to Southie bullshit --> Link. It's all lies though, I know this myself.

Love the trumpet or I will KILL you!

"Hope"
not for name but what it is
black like night
black for emptiness
black, no reason
black is black, nothing more
it's black is what this poem is
is black as ambition
black as regret
black like everything you lost once
black like shame
black like fear
black like your life
black, what you regret
this poem is called "black"
But it's name is "Hope"

Go here to save and print some wonderful paper activities for the kids while their trapped inside this winter. I also love the nostalgia myself.
I think you get some manila card stock and print this out then assemble it you'd have a wonderful little knick-knack. Even better you could cut it out and have your favorite little person assemble it for you, eh? I see big smiles with this stuff.
Enjoy & hit the damn link for more...
HINT: I resized it to 8" width maintaining aspect ratio with my pic viewer for a larger size full page print.
Led Zeppelin
This is the whole movie "Led Zeppelin the song remains the same", Sorry but it's in 14 parts (was the only way I could find it in decent quality), but it's worth the clicks.
I recommend you right click on each part and select "open link in a new window" or "new tab" to keep from losing this page, also they should load up full size in your window.
I also recommend you save the files and put them on a playlist to watch uninterrupted and in higher quality.
Watch Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part8, part 9, part 10, part 11, part 12, part 13, part 14.

A double shot of Barnstorm
How to save and view these files offline...
I use Orbit Downloader available here to download from most websites. With Orbit comes a handy little extension called "Grab ++" that will rename the file for you and make things all that much easier on you. The ones that it won't rename end up being simply "getvideo" and you need to go back through them and name them yourself. Another advantage to downloading a file and watching it from the file rather than on a web page is quality. When they create a feed they set up a frame rate buffer system that chops out every few frames of video and sound to speed up the streaming process. This means that you will hear and see a big difference between seeing it online and playing it as a file. Both of these are absolutely FREE.
To view the files I use one of two viewers. My first choice prog is VLC FLV player, available here. My second is Wimpy Flv player and you can get that here. These also are completely FREE
There are a couple of reasons why I use both at different times. One would be the video codec used to compress the file when it was made made might cause the video to skip on VLC whereas it usually will not skip on Wimpy, VLC is the better of the two but it's quite a big app and it's made for hundreds of file types. Wimpy is as it claims to be "just a wimpy little player" made just for FLV files. The other reason I like to sometimes use Wimpy is it's a stand-alone app, meaning it doesn't need to be installed. What this means is you can throw a couple of movies or a bunch of music vids on your portable flash stick or drive and put a copy of wimpy on the drive with the files and you can bring with you when you go out for a visit and watch with a friend without having to mess with installing anything on their computer
Another note tho is with VLC Media player I very strongly recommend you get the addon package "also free" because it will add on several codecs needed to play even other file types and increase it's functionality in use.
Another painting from my friend
If you want more info about her or are interested in her future works please leave a message below in the "comments" tag.
I'm sure she'd like to hear from you but I have no right to put her name out there without her permission, so I'm not going to get involved without her consent.

The Morality Song,,,
The real name translates to "Eva's Polka". Wikipedia says "The song takes the point of view of a young man. He wants to dance with Ieva (Eva or Eeva in Savo), but her mother won't let him. They sneak away to someone else's house, where everyone is dancing to a polka, and dance all night. When he follows her home, her angry mother is waiting for them, but he tells her straight out that Ieva and he will be together no matter what.", that might be where the story of morality origionated." I donno...
On its release in Finland, this song entered the radio charts - a rare occurrence for traditional music. The humorous story is told in the Savo dialect of Eastern Finland.
Lyrics:
Nuapurista kuulu se polokan tahti
jalakani pohjii kutkutti.
Ievan äiti se tyttöösä vahti
vaan kyllähän Ieva sen jutkutti,
sillä ei meitä silloin kiellot haittaa
kun myö tanssimme laiasta laitaan.
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
äppyt tipput hilijalleen.
Ievan suu oli vehnäsellä
ko immeiset onnee toevotti.
Peä oli märkänä jokaisella
ja viulu se vinku ja voevotti.
Ei tätä poikoo märkyys haittaa
sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan.
Salivili hipput.
Ievan äiti se kammarissa
virsiä veisata huijjuutti,
kun tämä poika naapurissa
ämmän tyttöä nuijjuutti.
Eikä tätä poikoo ämmät haittaa
sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.
Siellä oli lystiä soiton jäläkeen
sain minä kerran sytkyyttee.
Kottiin ko mäntii ni ämmä se riitelj
ja Ieva jo alako nyyhkyytteek.
Minä sanon Ievalle mitäpä se haittaa
laskemma vielähi laiasta laitaa.
Salivili.
Muorille sanon jotta tukkee suusi
en ruppee sun terveyttäs takkoomaa.
Terveenä peäset ku korjoot luusi
ja määt siitä murjuus makkoomaa.
Ei tätä poikoo hellyys haittaa
ko akkoja huhkii laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.
Sen minä sanon jotta purra pittää
ei mua niin voan nielasta.
Suat männä ite vaikka lännestä ittään
vaan minä en luovu Ievasta,
sillä ei tätä poikoo kainous haittaa
sillon ko tanssii laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.
Translated to English;
The sound of a polka drifted from my neighbor's
and set my feet a-tapping oh!
Ieva's mother had her eye on her daughter but
Ieva she managed to fool her, you know.
'Cause who's going to listen to mother saying no
when we're all busy dancing to and fro!
Ieva was smiling, the fiddle it was wailing
as people crowded round to wish her luck.
Everyone was hot but it didn't seem to bother
the handsome young man, the dashing buck.
'Cause who's going to mind a drop of sweat
when he's all busy dancing to and fro!
Ieva's mother she shut herself away
in her own quiet room to hum a hymn.
Leaving our hero to have a spot of fun
in a neighbor's house when the lights are dim.
'Cause what does it matter what the old folks say
when you're all busy dancing to and fro!
When the music stopped then the real fun began
and that's when the laddie fooled around.
When he took her home, when the dancing was over
her mother angrily waiting they found.
But I said to her, Ieva, now don't you weep
and we'll soon be dancing to and fro!
I said to her mother now stop that noise
or I won't be responsible for what I do.
If you go quietly and stay in your room
you won't get hurt while your daughter I woo.
'Cause this fine laddie is a wild sort of guy
when he's all busy dancing to and fro!
One thing I tell you is you won't trap me,
no, you won't find me an easy catch.
Travel to the east and travel to the west but
Ieva and I are going to make a match.
'Cause this fine laddie ain't the bashful sort
when he's all busy dancing to and fro.
NOTE: This is probably the best harmony I have ever heard. It deserves to be heard in full stereo or under headphones at least once.
Enjoy...
