My Daughter Jessica and The Midnight Rider.

One of the greatest songs in my life was The Allman Brothers Midnight Rider. I ran away from home at a very young age and hearing this during my trips gave me ambition and strength to carry on.

This band influenced me to such an extent that I named my first daughter after one of their songs. It was the most beautiful song I knew of and it reminded me of the spring time air, the beginnings of new life and the joy within the experience of it. I'm not too good looking but she is, below is a picture of me and Her at her wedding this summer and below that the songs. Her name is Jessica after the song.

A few household and family trics and tips....

#1 is "Never finish anything", the rule is 75% to 80 or sometimes 90% but never complete the task. Later on when you brag about how much you do you are going to need those fractions to prove your efforts. A job well done leaves no trace or evidence of it being done.

#2 is accidents. Accidents always happen and to everyone but if you plan them you can better your family life and position in the family. It's never your fault if you blurb out exactly the wrong thing 90% of the time and at just the right time to cause effect that you desire, is it? Bring up a subject if you need to, you CAN make accidents happen and you will never be held blame. We know that if you are on half odds 50% of the time you'll get some of it right, right? But nobody See's the full scope so 8 out of 10 can look like one time in a thousand. Don't worry, smile and be happy because you'll still look good.

#3 is Hints. No need to be honest in the family home because everyone's trying to please you anyway. Just hint at what you want and if that doesn't work change the subject, start a fight, make up and hint again. Soon enough even a three year old will get the hint and satisfy you in your desires. Remember though always "You can OWN these people", you don't owe them because your satisfaction comes first.

#4 Is arguments. Learn to argue well and argue long, wear the buffoon out before he can say a word. Make the bitch want not to talk. You don't need to waste your time on other peoples opinions. You do everything for them that you can (75-90%), you have a right to yell and scream and no one's paying you to listen. (FUKK THEM)

#6 is Priorities (I skipped #5 for good cause). Your priorities are your own, you define them. You don't have to waste time on other peoples stupid priorities. You need to Stand-Up and take position. Nothing should alter what you have decided is right and just use the opinion "I know everything anyway" and shove it down every one's throat. Nobody can be you and only you can assume your self assigned position in the family. Never forget that.

#7 Don't use any effort. You are special. If the meatloaf is gonna come out good then it will,if not then blame someone. You don't have to consume yourself with efforts or anything of the sort. Consider yourself so awesome that everything will just happen for you and it will. Effort is for lawn mowing guys, laundry washin wimmins, fools and idiots that have problems paying attention to things. Nothing ever earned was worth anything, life is supposed to be "FREE", your family needs to understand your life is free until they earn theirs.

I am father of seven, brother of six that I raised from very early childhood.

I Knew I'd have thirteen children but never thought six would be my siblings out of them.

Anyway it was an education for me.

One thing I learned was power of suggestion.

Children are remarkable because they all want to grow up. You offer them a way and they will do it. My sons all said "Dad, I don't like onions" I replied "as you mature and grow you will, you can hate them today but when you grow you will love them", they all love onions now.

Other things too...

Son says "I can't do that dad" I just say "Not today you can't but soon you will when you're ready you will" next thing they try to grow up and do.

Power of suggestion is both ways good and bad. If you say "you can't" a child won't, you say "you can" the child will.

"The child will" is important here because it's shortened version of "The Childs Will".

You almost dictate your child's will for success, failure, likes, dislikes, reasoning's and goals with expectations and reluctance's. YOU DECIDE the failure before-hand and if the child succeeds then YOU DECIDED the amount of successes.

Never (hard to write this), discourage. Modify your goals and expectations first. Wanna know why it's your job? Yer the fukkin Adult Dumbass, the kid is a reflection of you only.

The only way to hold your child in account is to put yourself as the direction he or she followed.

If your child gets screwed up in life, you screwed up because children "only" want good and safe lives!

I just found these on Veoh. I removed a few because they were redundant but left a few that are same links to same software because descriptions might better suit you or your needs.

I only checked out the Hulu link myself because Hulu can be a pain in the butt to save content from "Applian". I'm not too much into buying progs of this kind because in the past when I have I found them to become worthless and outdated before their value period had been used up. I have seen the free software to be better updated to accept changes in page script and modifications to newer versions of swf, flash,flv, asf, avi and other media streaming types.

However there are a couple of sound grabbers posted here and sound file format has not changed much along the years.

The toolbar offer below I would be leary of. I recommend you create a restore point before installing anything of that type or do an extensive Google search for user comments on it before installing any toolbar. Too many times I have seen toolbar addons take over your search engine, steal your text when typing and snag both login ID's with passwords and SOME you can't get rid of.

Earlier posts I have made have info on basically everything these guys offer and it's all for free, but I aint gonna waste my time typing out the same post three times after I already posted it twice.

You want the ones I use hit "how to" link on the right and look through posts or go to top left hand corner and keyword the word "Save". It should return a few posts on how to save files.

Each of these links are to a vid on Veoh Networks. They are all short enough that you can watch them without installing Veoh web player.

By 1983, she was elected deputy chief of the Cherokee Nation,^[13] alongside Ross Swimmer, who was serving his third consecutive term as principal chief. In 1985, Chief Swimmer resigned to take the position as head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This allowed Mankiller to become the first female principal chief.^[13] She was freely elected in 1987, and re-elected again in 1991 in a landslide victory, collecting 83% of the vote.^[14] In 1995, Wilma chose not to run again for Chief largely due to health problems.

Mankiller faced many obstacles during her tenure in office. At the time she became chief, the Cherokee Nation was male-dominated. Such a structure contrasted with the traditional Cherokee culture and value system, which instead emphasized a balance between the two genders. Over the course of her three terms, Mankiller would make great strides to bring back that balance and reinvigorate the Cherokee Nation through community-development projects where men and women work collectively for the common good,based on the Bureau of Indian Affairs "Self Help" programs first initiated by the United Keetoowah Band, and with the help of the Federal Governments Self-Determination monies. These project include establishing tribally owned businesses, such as horticultural operations and plants with government defense contracts, and improving infrastructure, such as providing running water to the community of Bell, Oklahoma and building a hydroelectric facility.^[15]

Under the US Federal policy of Native American self-determination, Mankiller was able to improve federal-tribal negotiations, paving the way for today's Government-to-Government relationship the Cherokee Nation has with the US Federal Government.^[16]

Examples of progress included the founding of the Cherokee Nation Community Development Department, the revival of Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah, and a population increase of Cherokee Nation citizens from 55,000 to 156,000.

Revised formula puts 1 in 6 Americans in poverty

By HOPE YEN, Associated Press Writer Hope Yen, Associated Press Writer .

WASHINGTON – The level of poverty in America is even worse than first believed.

A revised formula for calculating medical costs and geographic variations show that approximately 47.4 million Americans last year lived in poverty, 7 million more than the government's official figure.

The disparity occurs because of differing formulas the Census Bureau and the National Academy of Science use for calculating the poverty rate. The NAS formula shows the poverty rate to be at 15.8 percent, or nearly 1 in 6 Americans, according to calculations released this week. That's higher than the 13.2 percent, or 39.8 million, figure made available recently under the original government formula.

That measure, created in 1955, does not factor in rising medical care, transportation, child care or geographical variations in living costs. Nor does it consider non-cash government aid when calculating income. As a result, official figures released last month by Census may have overlooked millions of poor people, many of them 65 and older.

According to the revised NAS formula:

_About 18.7 percent of Americans 65 and older, or nearly 7.1 million, are in poverty compared to 9.7 percent, or 3.7 million, under the traditional measure. That's due to out-of-pocket expenses from rising Medicare premiums, deductibles and a coverage gap in the prescription drug benefit.

_About 14.3 percent of people 18 to 64, or 27 million, are in poverty, compared to 11.7 percent under the traditional measure. Many of the additional poor are low-income, working people with transportation and child-care costs.

_Child poverty is lower (because children don't talk about it), at about 17.9 percent, or roughly 13.3 million, compared to 19 percent under the traditional measure. That's because single mothers and their children disproportionately receive non-cash aid such as food stamps.

_Poverty rates were higher for non-Hispanic whites (11 percent), Asians (17 percent) and Hispanics (29 percent) when compared to the traditional measure. For blacks, poverty remained flat at 24.7 percent, due to the cushioning effect of non-cash aid.

_The Northeast and West saw bigger jumps in poverty, due largely to cities with higher costs of living such as New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The Census Bureau said it expedited release of the alternative numbers for this month because of the interest expressed by lawmakers and the Obama administration in seeing a fuller range of numbers. Legislation pending in Congress would mandate a switch to the revised formula, although the White House could choose to act on its own.

Arloc Sherman, a senior researcher at the nonprofit Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, said that because the revised formula factors in non-cash government aid, the amount of increase in poverty from 2007 to 2008 was generally smaller compared to the current measure.

"Food stamp participation rose during the first year of recession and appears to have softened what could have been an even greater increase in financial hardship," he said.

Sherman said the revised formula could take on greater importance in measuring poverty for 2009 as more Americans take advantage of tax credits and food stamps under the federal stimulus program. Food stamp assistance currently is at an all-time high of about 36 million.
