How to define an era

Robert Williams, otherwise known as "The Chrome King" pretty much defined a realm of art in the early 70's. His work was everywhere, on most of my tee-shirts even.

Most of his work had some kind of add-atude to it. Meaning "there was always more".

I can't say much more about him right now without ranting along like an idiot but here's a link for you to use to see for yourself what amazed every ten year old kid in the country back in 1970.

I bet yer gonna like it too...

PS: "I painted this back in 1990, called it my self portrait and gave it to my son, but in my painting Coochie Cootie had his thumb out hitch-hiking and a police cruiser was coming up behind him with his rollers on."
