i agree that you were "wrong" in 1970 to have smirked at their murders
however, i vehemently DISagree that those voicing their opposition to the war
had been "deceived by the media"

All wars have some merit even VN. We went there in a cold war mind set to stop the spread of comm. Even if it was done partially to feed the war machine it was thought necessary to be ready to take on Russia. The media back then was just as traitorous as they are today.
Old enough to remeber this on the news...and to remember my dad being harrassed by college kids when he came back from his 3d tour in Nam. They were mind fucked by their "teachers" just like my dad was by "The Man." Reality...they were fired on, right, wrong or indifferent...it's all a matter of perspective.

The guard opened fire after retreating back up the hill. All shots were from the same unit. It couldn't have been more obvious. Sandy, one of the murdered, was not even participating in the protest. Similar to the JFK assassination, all of the official accounts have been proven to be total falsehoods. Rhodes and the guard unit leader who commanded them to fire are murderers. Rev. My comment: Was an awful day and Nixon should have done more to both prevent it and comfort after it happened.
