What I'm trying to say here is it's a great song, done by some great people, each a little different but all are beautiful.

I agree, it is a fantastic song which has become more than its composers could have imagined. The reason could lie in the strength of the lyrics, very powerful. There is another Gary Jules version which comes with a very different video.
