Proper vehicle maintenance

From my email today...
Woman adding a quart of oil to her car…
I guess maintaining a vehicle is a lot like cooking?

I quick music vid made using Winamp, Milkdrip 2 & WebCamMax

I made a video tonight using Winamp, MilkDrop Visualizations (It comes bundled for free with the free current version of Winamp), and I recorded it with  WebCamMax.

One thing you should know about most screen capturing software is that with just about every program I've used you can not record internal sound from your sound card. What I always ended up doing is record the video and then overlay the sound track onto it. WebCamMax allows you to use systen sound and that's good because of syncronization between the sound and scenes.

I did this quick version to show you what you can do with next to no costs. I didn't make a production out of it. I just kept it simple and basic.

Paint Shop Pro Tutorials made easy using WebCamMax and Medhi plugin filters Free

Last night I went about searching for screen capture/webcam software to make a Paint Shop Pro tutorial with.
Of course I have screen capture software, I must have 10 different programs but none do both and none of them record the sound properly.
In the past I would have to make the video, then play it back and record a sound track while watching it and then use Format Factory to convert the video and add the sound track to it as a layer.
Well I finally found a decent program called WebCamMax that does it all in one straight shot. The vid format is mp4 which is a bonus too. It creates fantastic screen captures for recording events, processes (I haven't tried recording movies with it yet) , it also adds some interesting effects to the webcam side. I don't webcam at all but I do have 4 grandsons that I might like to record some silly stuff for. As far as that goes, there are 100's of nifty little tricks you can use with your webcam for chat or just recording a film type greeting with. Backgrounds ranging from being on a stage to appear in a mirror or other just plain silly things. There are also effects to give you a fat head (I know I'm gonna like that one), silly hats and cartoon type things on the screen with you. I think you can even make your own and import them too.

This is my first shot run. I know the sound isn't up loud enough, but it was my first attempt and I had to test it. Plus it was 3:30 AM and my Lovely Daughter didn't need me making huge noise to mess up her final hours of sleep before going to school.

This is just a basic hand tinting method made using Medhi's Eraser Genuine filter and Paint Shop Pro 7.04. It is a beginners tut and therefore if you know anything about filters and layers you are probably way beyond the scope of this lesson.

Still I share it with you anyway.

Format Factory is 100% Free and by far the best vidio/audio conversion program out there [LINK]
Medhi offers 28 free filters for use with Adobe, Jasc, Corel Products as well as Irfanview, it also is 100% Free [LINK]
WebCamMax can be gotten from here [LINK], Note, if you do buy it buy soon because they are offering a 50% discount "$24.95" for a short period of time. I will delete that last note when I see that the offer has ended
Irfanview is not used in this topic, but I let the name slip and they deserve credit. Irfanview is also free and by far it is the best image viewing, cataloging, converting, web page building, screensaver making, program ever written. For more info on it go to the top of this page and type it into my search field and read my other 2 or 3 posts on it. One will even show you how to make your own Karaoke files using it, another shows how to publish web pages and another is just a features overview. [LINK]

The best and fastest image viewer made is Irfanview!!!

Irfanview is by far the best image viewing tool out there. It can also play many media formats, like mp3, mpg, mpeg, flash content like flv games or the older swf files and many others.

Beyond that Irfanview can build you web pages to display pictures to share. It makes the thumbnails and puts them on an index page and then if makes a page for each image to view full sized. You can use some included filters to touch up the images or you can add filters to do even more.

It is in no way comparable to Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro, but it's not intended to be. Instead it's a stand alone application that you can run from a flash drive and take with you in your pocket without installing anything on a computer I find that handy when showing pictures to others on the fly or getting images from them without having the proper program required to view them. Like when I go to OfficeMax to get larger sized prints and need to check format requirements.

If you decide to install I recommend you install the addons package. It's tiny and useful

The English Language is a sham!

The English Language is a sham!

Really, the English language as used (or manipulated) in America is not exactly what you think it is.

It started out spelled just as it sounded. There were many dialects, accents and local expressions, but with the invention of the Gutenberg press (In 1450 Johannes Gutenberg made his first printing press) all of that came to be standardized and natural spelling somehow not good enough for educators or those who publish.

They didn't change anything about the way the word was spoken from one place to another, they just demanded that everyone adopt their ways and spelling.

From the first time I had heard about that process I found I was disappointed. I never liked conformity, I disliked it even more to see that it could dominate a whole nation. That a few could decide over the rest.

One passion I have always had is reading. I have always enjoyed books written in the 1400's through mid 1500's. The thing I honored most in those reads was the fact that you don't read the word. You read the voice that wrote the work.

That was the beginning of the cultural rip-off that people just wallow through. The second was media.

Starting around 1970 television and radio stations started joining together and later affiliated.

Still up until around 1974 there remained a great deal of local programming on both ends and people watched news anchors deliver their news in their own style of speaking.

Next came the network broadcasters and they slammed it all to the wall. They began to dictate "proper" sounding English. That was the beginning of "fake it or get out".

I remember ordering an ice cream in Florida back when they still had their beautiful accents The woman at the counter asked me "Waont sprainkles owenit?", I asked "What", she asked again "Waont sprainkles owenei't?" I asked what again and she pointed at the chocolate jimmies and yelled "sprainkles-sprainkles-sprainkles!". I smiled and said, "No jimmies please" and tried not to laugh because she would have taken it the wrong way. I wanted to smile though over just hearing her beautiful voice.

Okay, to cut that short. Right now, where we are it's nothing but cheap fad expressions. The Good l' Days when you went a few hundred of miles away people had their own expressions, opinions and to some extent culture. There were opinions then too. Opinions based on local social issues and local views on national issues.

Now there is nothing but recycled crap handed down from prime-time TV script writers and actresses and actors that we all know have exactly no morals or cares for anything except their own images and the sparkle of being idolized. I swear sometimes a lot of people only watch news to get an opinion that won't make them stand out and learn what the new catch phrases will work the best at social gatherings (mini-sparkles and fractional idolization).

Honestly, I don't and won't ever know how to write, not unless I could do it my way and that will never be accepted. Still I hate trends, I hate people that look for other people to steal from or share opinions with.

Actually I hate bullshit and if it aint coming outta yer mind it is pure bullshit by the time you spit it out.

Why did I write this post anyway?

Because I know of a site made by Michael Hart (RIP September 2, 2011). In 1971 he was asked to help put the internet together or help make it have some usfulness for the common person. He was given $100,000,000 (One-Hundred-Million-Dollars) worth of time to use the internet [More info], and he wanted to make his contribution worth something.

So he thought and thought and thought it over and he decided to make what was actually the very first computer virus.

He typed in the full Declaration of Independence and sent it out to every person he could on the internet at the time. He had reasoned that if he sent out 1000,000,000 copies of it then each would be worth at least $1 and in that he would have earned his money honestly.

Soon, as things picked up and the internet started becoming known to all walks of life he decided to move forward and from there he started Project Gutenberg.

I found that site more than 12 years ago while looking for books from 1400-mid 1500's and I still love browsing through it like a library. They now have over 38,000 FREE ebooks that range in everything to everything else. Some of my favorites are the old "The Boy Mechanic" by Popular Mechanics (get those in pdf, not txt files if you want to see the actual pages with illustrations), The 1887 version of  the White House Cookbook, The Dreamers Dictionary (10,000 Dreams Interpreted) by Gustavus Hindman Miller and the early non-fiction books that contain a few of the undiluted facts about our past.

Sorry I ragged on like that, but I doubt anyone will read this anyway.
Here's the link to a shit load of free and legal ebooks and pdf's...

    1. Its the hangman for Bush, Blair, Obama, Brezinski and all the duel nationality US/Israeli Zionist Neo cons that where behind 9-11 and all the recent wars.
    2. to let the elite gain the power they need, an army is needed. so what has to happen is: the soldiers themseves should just stop obeying! just like chaplin said in the movie "the great dictator".... when that happens, than world peace is near... since soldiers are too stupid to think for themselves.... there will never be peace and the elite will win.... get used to that and stop wining... or else, turn against the elite! although you know you are in grave danger by doing so.
    3. Well Russia can dig and bury the nuke underground then detonate it or high above the earth but you are right a hole would be better.
    4.
but they try to keep money and to have money after!
the blind guys give the system money so they dont want to wake you up
if you wake up- the rich one loose power, and noone want to loose power.
      so, they keep his power

    5. Most of the people choose to defend, in an active or passive fashion, the current order of things mostly because of ignorance and comfort. People are taught since childhood to think and act only in their own personal best interest in order to aggressively seek power and material wealth, to bury compassion and any other normal human value. It is sad to see that too many people plan their lives like a business investment, accepting less and less time for themselves and their families.
    6. Wake up and join the light - because it only takes a little light within darkness to render it obsolete.
    7. What an a hole.
    8. i knew this shit was gonna be crazy when the film started with star wars like ships and shit.
    9. I felt like that too, but I did it anyway....they know something is wrong...that is when they aren't keeping up with Hollywood or filing their nails! I shared it anyway and so should you!
    10. Thank you so much for this very wonderful upload. I learned more in the 55 minutes than I did in my school years. Cannot begin to thank you enough! It all rings true. It all rings true! So what can we do now?

Todd McCormick - How To Grow Medicinal Marijuana [Flip-Book]

    Todd McCormick
    How To Grow Medicinal Marijuana

This is a preview of the book How To Grow Medicinal Marijuana by Todd McCormick. I found the pdf quite easily online and made this from it.  I hope that it's OK that I post it this way. At the end of the book there are many helpful links that you can follow for additional information.

The full book can be viewed online at my site [here] or you can "attempt to" download the swf file from [here]. I'm not sure what different browsers allow.

On the right sidebar there's a link to our FaceBook group called "Hemp as an Alternative". I hope to see you there and feel free to join.

G-Roc-Radio & The Smoke Zone have to be moved soon from my Space!!!

I had to shut the Zone down.

I guess I shoulda talked more about it first, but I made three phone calls, sent three messages VIA the internet, got nothing. Later though in a reply to a message that went something like this...

"Look Bro, I don't know what's going on. I tried calling three times and sent three messages and still nothing" I got the reply "Ha-haa, I'll call you in a few..."

I didn't know a few minutes from a few days, or a few weeks from a few months or a few years, but I waited ten days from the calender page and got nothing. After that though, through mix-n-match on other ongoing dialog between myself and other people he did petition me on several occasions for me to contact him, with the lame excuse that he had lost my number.

I replied with the search results for "David+Rice+Farnam+Nebraska+Phone+Number" and that link provided him with my name, phone number and all the information he requested as the first result on the pagge,. along with the other 24 results below it. He didn't want to use it. Instead he asked me again...

I'm thinkin to myself "For Real?"
"Does this guy even know me anymore???"
So I finally replied "Call you in a few Bro..."

I donno, but I really don't wanna call him in a few days, don't want him to call me in a few days, don't wanna give a shit anymore and I think it's best left far behind me.

Here's a link to the page I shut down, just because I searched and searched for just the right script to use and I can't show it here.

The link to that script is [HERE] the name is mf2fm.com  and I hope you go and check this guys work out. It's all shared for free and it adds a nice touch to a page. I used this one because... well, just because, but there are hearts, romance, art deco  and many others to pick from.

Totally Free Video, Mp3, file downloader, manager, editor, burner etc...

    One installation for 41 programs

    Description

New Free Studio Manager is a completely redesigned all-in-one package for our programs. It contains 8 sections to bundle all free multimedia applications which have been developed by DVDVideoSoft. These sections the following: YouTube, MP3&Audio, CD-DVD-BD, DVD&Video, Photo&Images, Mobiles, Apple Devices, 3D. Thus all the programs are included in the new interface for easy access to any of them.
With this free software you can convert video and audio files between different formats and to iPod, PSP, iPhone, BlackBerry and all popular mobile phones and devices; burn and rip DVDs and audio CDs; upload and download YouTube videos and music to your computer, iPod, PSP, iPhone and BlackBerry; perform basic editing of audio and video files as well as record videos and make snapshots.
Free Studio contains no spyware or adware. It's clearly free and absolutely safe to install and run.

    My Notes:

This is a great set of applications/,  there is only one draw-back that needs mentioning. It does come with browser extension addon's. you can deselect the activation of them during the installation process for the initial install but during actual use of the various components it may prompt you to allow them to be installed onto your browsers interface. I don't think I did anything except deny or opt-out a few times and even that has stopped popping up for me now, as it used to when closing out of a prog.

Next is that some of the configuration has not been completed yet, but it does still look promising. The DVD burning application will still only copy previously formatted content to DVD, but you still need to use other software to create the VIDEO_TS and VOB files to actually make the DVD a DVD Player Formatted disc.

The 3-D imaging still needs some work done on it and probably a few more applications still need a few wrinkles ironed out of them. Still as-is even now it's a very good program

All of the above was copied from [Here], except my notes. You really should visit that page for the rest of the info, links and any further updates which will be posted on the side-bar on the right hand side of that page...

blessings, peace and all that other happy stuff,,,

    Laters.

Additional Note: *I did NOT post all or any of that in F**kin Caps! My html version is not typed in caps and I don't like the damn Rude caps. I don't know how that happened to come out that way but just as soon as I can figure it out I'll remove it and put it back fixed.
