This day in history in the news.

Well, if you wait a while today will be in history. That means this isn't a complete damn lie (I hope).

No full posts on these but titles are links to the original posts.

Comments are mine.

September 3, 2010 in the damn news:

"WASHINGTON – Private employers hired more workers over the past three months than first thought, a glimmer of hope for the weak economy ahead of the Labor Day weekend. But the unemployment rate rose because not enough jobs were created to absorb the growing number of people looking for work."

First of all this is bullshit and I'm not even going to read this full news post. Want to know why? because I saw this coming months ago. First they change the self-employed rules which then takes contracted help out of the role of the self employed and places them in the role of as being employed by those who only use their services sporadically, like farmers hiring out small aspects of their crop preparation for transport or renewal or any other number of services used by small scale privately operated and run businesses and they then force those people to be listed as employed by those people. They know that the insurance and hidden costs are going to cripple the small time company and then later ruin the other guys ability to go out and hire on to work those small jobs but for today and for the record and for braggers rights a bunch of people got hired and it will last just a short time until everything goes "bang" and then the big guys get yet another small guys small farm or repair shop or whatever and this only ends when nobody has anything unless the government has its hand in it.

Next.....

"While the rest of the political world is preoccupied with the midterm elections, Chicago dentist William DeJean is hatching plans for 2012. He shelled out $5,000 to create an ad encouraging Americans to back a Hillary Clinton presidential run in 2012. He says the spot will run in New Orleans, Washington, New York and Los Angeles."

More smoke for the news media to be spreading around. Anything will work as long as they get and keep your attention on the stupid shit.

Read it if you want to but as far as I can see it's nothing but noise used to hide the real noise...U.S. unemployment soars to 9.6% after economy loses 54,000 jobs in a month

'The data from the U.S. Labor Department showed the economy lost 54,000 jobs last month as the United States continues to struggle to recover from the recent global recession.
Economists had predicted even worse figures and despite the fact unemployment rose for the first time in four months, a number of experts described the news as 'positive'"

I'm confused. Didn't we just add 67,000 jobs? Now they say we lost 54,000? Did we only add 13,000 workers or did we add 67,000 then fire 54,000 all in the same month or did we add 67,000 then deport 54,000 because they were illegal immigrants and they were here stealing jobs from good honest Americans who were once illegal immigrants or their families were when they stole boats and ships and came over from Spain, England, Germany, France, Ireland, Sweden and Russia with stolen illegal alien slaves who worked for really nothing  and stole jobs picking cotton and oranges and cuttin firewood and all kinds of other shit.

Now I'm really confused. I say we fukkin arrest everybody, arrest me even and let the judge sort things out but first make sure the damn judge aint an illegal alien here stealin a job from another "honest" American too.

** Attention: Debit Card users <--- Now comes the funny stuff...

Due to the nature of the Free Trial Offer, this Free Trial is only available for Credit Card users. Please note: If you *falsely identify your "Debit card" as a "Credit card" your card will be charged today and your order might not be processed. Please click here if you would like to change your method of payment or if you can not currently use your debit card for these payments. You may also respond to this email and reduce the amount of items you ordered.

Congratulations and enjoy your savings.

Yours truly,

magicJack

* Note that they used the term "If you falsely identify your "Debit card" as a "Credit card", they did this to try to make me feel responsible for the misleading techniques that they used in their advertising scam.

In a minute my reply email sent to them, but first a few more notes on what they have done.

The offer was MagicJack free to try for thirty days and it is offered as "There is absolutely no commitment or charges for Free Trial Offer. Your eligibility for today's 100% Risk Free, 30 Day Free Trial offer is explained further on subsequent page." Also it is stated in almost all ads that no credit card is needed for the free offer or to subscribe to the service.
First they took almost $47.00 out of my account, and also for some reason unspecified as to why they would do that they took even one more dollar. They were prompt in canceling out my account. Hell they even did that the same night I sent the following email, but still they took my money without my knowing and clear consent.

The way that they did it was an old fashioned "switch & bait" scam. As you will see below (click on it to see image in full size if you want to). When you select the box that says "This is a debit/gift card" the screen flashes instantly and although it looks the same they switched some of the wording with no further attention given to the change in the boundaries of the transaction.

As I stated to them I read every word before filling out any form and never had it entered my mind that I should have had to read it again. I thought the flicker was just a product of my unsatisfactory internet connection because it happens even reading the damn news.

End result is they took money out of my account and I have no number to call, they have said nothing to me about returning my money, but..... The punk-assed thieves sent me an email saying this... "Thank you for your interest in magicJack."

Now the damn emails I sent them...

subjectRe: magicJack Order#: DT03929724 Confirmation
mailed-bygmail.com

Based on the following statement that I just received in my email from you I have decided to decline and cancel my order with you. I made this decision solely because of what I read in your email that leads me to believe you have deceived me in my purchase agreement. That coincidentally constituted fraud on your behalf and if you have touched even one cent of my account balance you can be sure legal action will be taken against you.

** Attention: Debit Card users

Due to the nature of the Free Trial Offer, this Free Trial is only available for Credit Card users. Please note: If you falsely identify your "Debit card" as a "Credit card" your card will be charged today and your order might not be processed. Please click here if you would like to change your method of payment or if you can not currently use your debit card for these payments. You may also respond to this email and reduce the amount of items you ordered.

Take a moment to read the following please...

#1 I carefully read page two of the ordering process fully and completely before checking any choice options on that page. I was never given any indication that I should have to take any further time to read the page once more because of a flicker (common on my wireless network even with Yahoo news pages) and a slight of hand change in the payment options based on my selection stating that it was a debt card Visa. I deceived no one, seems clear you are trying to pull a fast one on me though.

#2 It is considered to be trickery which results in a fraudulent offer for you to state several times that my funds will not be touched until 4-11-10 as the invoice reads on even this email I am replying to...
"Your credit card will be charged on or after the

following date(s) for the amounts listed below

Date: 04/11/2010 Charge Amount: $46.90"

If you were to decide to honor the offer as offered to me I would be more than happy to accept the agreement, but you try to touch one cent on my debt card I will have you charged with fraud and recoup for damages. Damages will include my ability to receive health care because the money left on that card is set aside for transportation costs to last me until April 3, 2010 and I am at the point of a "life threatening" illness right now. I never intended to be mislead into an agreement that could cost me loss of quality in my life or cost me my life under the worst of circumstances.

Be careful and tread lightly on people with nothing left to lose or you might end up fighting a badger with a bad attitude!

Best of the best to ya...

That was the first email. Later in the week I sent another asking about my money being returned. Still no reply from the assholes.

Walk on the wild side ~ Lou Reed

LOL, I remember older people who hated Rock N' Roll bragging about loving this song. They were still clueless and lost in some world of tranquilizers watching late night television for clues as to what social step they could take next to stay up on things. I think someone well respected said once it was okay to like this song, so they accepted it. LOLOLOLOLOLOL, What a bunch of customers they were/still are. Not one complete working mind in a room of 1,000 even if you combined them all together.

I'm sorry but I actually hate stupid people and worse than stupid people are stupid generations that try to judge other generations with their ignorance. I call them "customers" because they buy into any bullshit offered to them as long as their friends will agree with it too. Then they call it "Law" or "Righteousness" or something like "common sense"

"Common sense"??? Is that the sense of the common?. Nothing "common" ever fixed, cured or initiated anything. Common has as always will be the lazy path. It has been the cause of the failures of every society.

Subservience in any measure is slavery and I have exactly no respect for a slave or a person who would put their own child into that slavery!

Go ahead and watch the vid. It'll make you feel cool. Ask someone what to think. It'll insure you fit right in, but stay outta my way because I don't even like most of what I see and I am not cool and I am not like you...

Controlling the Cops; Accomplices To Perjury

By ALAN M. DERSHOWITZ;
Published: May 2, 1994

As I read about the disbelief expressed by some prosecutors at the Mollen Commission's recent assertion that police perjury is "widespread" in New York City, I thought of Claude Rains's classic response, in "Casablanca," on being told there was gambling in Rick's place: "I'm shocked -- shocked!"

For anyone who has practiced criminal law in the state or Federal courts, the disclosures about rampant police perjury cannot possibly come as a surprise. "Testilying" -- as the police call it -- has long been an open secret among prosecutors, defense lawyers and judges.

Irving Younger, a onetime New York City Criminal Court judge, described police testimony in search and seizure cases this way: "When one . . . looks at a series of cases, [ it ] then becomes apparent that policemen are committing perjury at least in some of them, and perhaps in nearly all of them."

Judge Younger concluded that the solution to this pervasive problem was "prosecutors' work," since the "courts can only deplore" while the prosecutors can refuse to put perjuring policemen on the witness stand and can prosecute them if they lie.

He was correct in identifying the problem and in arguing that prosecutors bore considerable responsibility for its persistence. But he let the courts off the hook too easily: the central villains in the perjury scandal are precisely judges who, for decades, have pretended to believe the tallest tales told by lying cops in the face of overwhelming evidence of pervasive perjury.

Without the complicity of judges, police perjury would be reduced considerably. Officers know that in many courtrooms they can get away with the most blatant perjury without judicial rebuke or prosecution.

I have seen trial judges pretend to believe officers whose testimony is contradicted by common sense, documentary evidence and even unambiguous tape recordings. And I have seen appellate judges close their eyes to such patently false findings of fact. Judicial acceptance of obviously false testimony sends a subtle yet powerful message of approval, if not encouragement, to perjurers.

In Boston, the police routinely made up imaginary informers to justify searches and seizures, and the judges believed them.

In a Federal case in New York, a judge credited the testimony of a policeman even though he was caught on tape telling an informer that if he testified truthfully, he would run him over "with a truck" and that if the informer ever said "that I said it, I'm gonna deny it." The cop then denied saying it, and despite the tape the judge pretended to believe him.

In Nassau County, a policeman showed a key witness photographs of a suspect before the witness was asked to pick the suspect out of a lineup, and then denied under oath that he had done so.

Many trial judges were prosecutors, and they know perjury when they hear it -- and they hear it often enough to be able to do something about it. Yet many tolerate it because they think most victims of police perjury are guilty of the crimes for which they stand charged.

Some judges refuse to close their eyes to perjury, but they are the rare exception to the rule of blindness, deafness and muteness that guides the vast majority of judges and prosecutors.

The Mollen Commission includes a former judge and prosecutor; unless it broadens its focus to include judges and prosecutors who subtly encourage perjury, nothing will change.

A few cops will be prosecuted, and a quarter-century from now yet another blue-ribbon commission will be "shocked -- shocked" at the pervasiveness of police perjury in the criminal justice system.

Alan M. Dershowitz is professor of law at Harvard.

Comment: "Nah, he's just liein about them liein cause they lie all the time so he thinks it's ok fer him to lie too. See how the beast feeds the beast? Oh yea, I'm liein too so how you like that?"

Lies Take Longer Than Truths.

Liein is a waste of precious time:

A new technique that separates truth from lies finds it takes about 30 percent longer to fib.

The computer-based analysis, reported in The Times of London, showed that British test subjects took 1.2 seconds on average to speak reality in recent tests, while prevarications took 1.8 seconds.

The timed antagonistic response alethiometer test (Tara) was developed by Aiden Gregg, a psychologist at the University of Southampton. It involves questions answered on a computer using the keyboard, then an algorithm to see how users did.

In 85 percent of cases, interviewees were slower when they lied.

Gregg figures his approach could replace traditional lie detector methods, which he says criminals have caught onto.

"Habitual liars heard that people look away when telling lies, so they stare directly into your eyes," he said.

A polygraph is not a lie detector, as LiveScience's Bad Medicine Columnist Christopher Wanjek has explained. A polygraph detects physiological expressions associated with lying in some people, such as a racing heart and sweaty fingers. The determination of truth vs. falsehood is subjective, and polygraph examiners are often wrong.

The National Academy of Sciences tested the traditional lie detector in 2002 and concluded "polygraph tests can discriminate lying from truth telling at rates well above chance, though well below perfection."

The Times reports that the U.S. government is considering using Tara.

Aerosmith story & post

I first saw Aerosmith live in Boston on Huntington Ave. In I think April of 1973 or 74. I had gone to see an Alice Cooper concert at The Boston Gardens. My mother thought Alice was a female singer (LOL). I was supposed to go with my older cousins and some older guys. I was 12 or 13 then but I convinced my mother to drop me off there to meet them. I don't think they ever showed. Bonanza Bus Lines was my only way for a ride home that night, but they stopped running at midnight, before the concert ended. So now here I am just a kid leaving with 15 or 20,000 other kids from a concert stadium after 1:00am and nowhere to go.

What do I do?

Smartest Idea I could come up with was go to the 99 cent all night XXX movie theater in The Combat Zone just to get out of the cold and sleep till Bonanza was running again in the morning. But,,, I didn't get any rest in there. Other people from the concert went there too and they had good drugs. I bought first black (opium laced) hash and then smoked it and then Amie Poppers (Amiel Nitrate) in a 1/2 ounce bottle and the combo hyped me up, so I walked.

I was on Huntington Ave about 3:30 in the morning when in a dorm house, up on 4th floor I see a guy sitting half in and half outside a window, with a 20 oz keg cup of beer and hear great music. I yell up begging for a beer. He tells me "c'mon up" Now I'm in the middle of a college keg party and it was great.

We killed the keg shortly after 6:00am but it was ok because it was one of those fantastic first spring day mornings.

By 7:00 we were all out in the parking lot playing Frisbee, others joined us and I estimate we were about fifty counted with at least ten Frisbee's and at least ten joints going around at any given moment between us. Everyone had their radio's tuned to WBRU (Boston Universities Radio Station) & music filled the air.

I paused a few times thinking that no life could have ever been better than mine at that moment untill...

WOW! This shit-heap old bluish van pulled in and parked. These crazy bastards opened the back doors and three guys jumped out holding Pig-Nosed Amplifiers and guitars. Drums already set up at the back of the van facing out and it was Fukkin Aerosmith. In under two minutes them boys was jammin!

It was crazy. They played until campus security and police chased them off.

My friend Donna became a groupy for them. I honestly didn't remember the name of the punks in the van (being whacked out on Amie, hash, opium, Acapulco gold, beer and whatever else I could get my hands on), she kept Aerosmithin' this and Aerosmithin' that and my opinion was "Shut the fuck up Donna already. Nobody cares about yer wet panties and yer freaked-out school-girl crush bitch!", that was until I saw them again and said "Hey, that was them! WOW!"

In an interview Steven Tyler said "I have to play and I have to sing. Even if I never get payed I'll still do it because that's me and it's what I am". Then he went on to say he got his start playing (crashing in on) college parking lots for free.

Sorry story was so long but it's true. Sorry I don't exactly remember what year but truth is even at age 11 I thought I was 20 so some of those times I got caught up in my own version of reality and forgot where I was.

Last Point: I've been 100% drug free for over 15 years now but don't regret my dance with the drug. Just out grew it, that's all.

The meaning of Funk!

I have searched and searched for the real meaning of Funk and Funk-Shunned. I get nowhere with these tards and If I knew what I was talking about myself I'd try to tell you better.
But "eh~"

Anyway I do know that FunkShun is the proper spelling. It however was adopted into the English in use as the (now more common word) function. The word "function" is actually a Hillbilly accentuated version of the two words combined, being "Funks Action". No teeth and half drunk on hard cider the guys would yell "Funk's Action", but slurring it it came out as "Funk-chun". What they were, or "was" intendin to say was "Be right by Funks action", or simply "Do as the Funk would do an get me a beer and a sandwich"

Anyway... I now being the Officiated bearer of the Title of Funk have decided to reinstate this word into usage.

I have also decided to add into it's usage the term Funk-Shunned.
Watch yer step or you too may be Shunned the Funky way by me also...
