As it says above this post is for my sister, to share it with her. I'll probably listen to it one day but tonight I'm busy.

Enjoy it Lea.

Love,,,

NOTE: If some of the players fail to load, it is not in my html, it's something with 4Shared. I just went over every aspect of it and found it to be embedded properly and they all should work. The titles are still download links, use them that way if you need to.

Head East - Never been any reason

Some of the following is from Wiki's Site, located [HERE]

"Never Been Any Reason" is the first track on Head East's debut album Flat as a Pancake, composed by the band's guitarist, Mike Somerville. It is often considered Head East's signature song, peaking at #68 on the Hot 100, and continues to be played on classic rock radio stations in the US a generation after it was recorded. It is noted for Roger Boyd's synthesizer solos throughout the song. Lead vocals are alternated between drummer Steve Huston singing the first two lines of the verses and lead vocalist John Schlitt on the remainder of the song. Both the last line of each verse and the choruses feature signature multi-part vocal harmonies sung by all the members of the band.
The song was featured in the 1993 film Dazed and Confused, and later in Sahara (2005 film).

I remember it from 1981 though. It at the time had the beat, the tempo and the anger to match my mood almost exactly.

One thing I love and understand about art  is its ability to touch on all basic (and not to basic) emotions.

Some critics and other overbearing control freaks will use definitions like "positive influence", "negative influence", or tearms as in "healthy" or degree's of such. What they are overlooking is that those feelings are already there and it is NOT better to experience them as unhealthy feelings or to try to attempt to address them as if a person is all alone in experiencing them. Without a zone outside of the "comfort zone" there can be no comfort zone to define. Without a target there is no point to aim for...

This song I am grateful for because it gave me a beat to pound on in time to on the dashboard of my pick-up while driving off the anger of a love that at the time had seemed to defeat me, much-much more than that, it showed me that the path I was on was not a new one and others had travelled it and survived it too. It gave me the decision to survive it also!

Turn it up and sing it LOUD with me please...

"Did you see any action? Did you make any friends?
Would you like some affection? Before I leave again?

I've been walking behind you, since you've been able to see.
There's never been any reason, for you to think about me.

Did you have any bad dreams, did you break any glass?
Would you be my companion, is there even a chance?

You've been talking in circles, since I've been able to cry.

There's never been any reason, for ever telling me why, yea, yea.

Save my life, I'm going down for the last time.
Woman with the sweet lov'in, better than a white line.
Bring a good feeling ain't had in such a long time.
Save my life, I'm going down for the last time.

Have you ever been lonely? Do you have any fun?
Do you ever think of me? I'm just no one. Yea.
You never give me no answer, you never tell me the truth.
There's never been any reason. For me to think about you.
There's never been any reason,
There's never been any reason. Yeah!
There's never been any reason.

Save my life, I'm going down for the last time.
Woman with the sweet lov'in, better than a white line.
Don't you know she could bring a good feeling ain't had in such a long time.
